RAA Southern Rally – Sunday 1st May 2016 – Temporary Road Closures affecting Heysen Trail – Southern Fleurieu

During the weekend of Saturday 30th April May 2016 and Sunday 1st May 2016 the running of the 2016 RAA Southern Rally will affect access along sections of the Heysen Trail.

Sunday 1st May between 1 pm and 5 pm:

  • Rymill Rd, Tunk Head Rd (southern end),
  • Callawonga Creek Rd,
  • Bollaparudda Rd (southern end),
  • Mt Scrub Rd (southern end) and
  • Law Rd.
  • This includes approx 4kms of Heysen trail

The section of the Heysen Trail that is closed (Callawonga Creek Rd & Mount Scrub Rd)  is shown on Map 1.4 of the HT Southern Guide and HT Sheetmap 1B.

There are also road closures in the forest areas of the Second Valley Forest on Saturday 30th April May 2016.

5 Ordinary People hiking the Heysen TrailGuest Speaker: Erina Sipos will address the meeting at the conclusion of the AGM. Erina is the mother of the family of ‘5 ordinary people’. She will talk about the Heysen Trail trek they undertook in 2015.
