E2E Maintenance – Part 2

Walk name/location
E2E Maintenance – Part 2
Description

In May, the End to End Maintenance (E2EM) program started at Cape Jervis. We will work our way north completing the whole trail in five years.

The program consists of a series of weekend camps held monthly during the walking season.

The work involves pruning of undergrowth, replacing faded marker plates, erecting new marker posts and rebuilding stiles. We use mainly hand tools plus electric drills. So only basic handyman skills are required. However good physical fitness is required.

The Friends will pay for accommodation expenses up to $50 per person for Saturday night in a nearby location (eg cabins at Victor Harbor) and will pay for your dinner on Saturday night.
