Trail Starter

Introducing people to bushwalking, for those who have not walked in a group previously or who want a shorter walk. More info about the Trail Starter walk grade.

Trail Walker

Reasonably demanding and for walkers who have walked regularly in various terrain requiring a high degree of physical fitness. More info about the Trail Walker walk grade.

Trail Rambler

Infrequent walks for specialist events like bird watching and historical walks. More info about the Trail Rambler walk grade.

End-to-End

Walk some or all of the Heysen Trail over approx sixty walking days, spread over six years. One day or one weekend a month. More info about the End-to-End walk grade.

End-to-End Maintenance Weekends

Weekend trips throughout the walking season of small groups of volunteers to conduct maintenance. More info about the End-to-End Maintenance Weekends walk grade.

Extended Walks

These are multi-day walks, usually a long weekend or a week long trip. Sometimes a few hours drive from Adelaide, sometimes interstate or overseas. These trips often involve overnight stays in accommodation organised and paid for by the participant. More info about the Extended Walks walk grade.

Summer Twilight Walks

During the off-season on various days of the week, evenings and some mornings, mostly close to Adelaide. More info about the Summer Walks walk grade.
