SUMMARY:EE15 Walk 10 - Kyeema-Dashwood Gully Rd
DESCRIPTION:The walk starts off in the dense native bushland of Kyeema Conservation Park\, and then the plantations of Kuitpo Forest. SUMMARY:EE15 Walk 9 - Mt Compass-Kyeema
DESCRIPTION:The pretty dairy pastures of Mt Compass and Nangkita provide the backdrop for the first section of this walk.\nBack roads then lead walkers up a steady incline through to Finniss Conservation Park and into Mt Magnificent Conservation Park\, where a short steep hike off the main trail which rewards walkers with spectacular views from Mt. SUMMARY:EE15 Walk 8 - Myponga-Mt Compass
DESCRIPTION:After a short road walk\, the trail enters the small but picturesque Yulte Conservation Park after a steady climb you have a challenging steep  descent where walking poles\, if you have them\, will be put to good use.\n\nAfter emerging from the bushland\, the trail crosses open farmland continuing along Lawless Rd (and past the Myponga Pistol Club firing range)\, and gradually climbing to Mt Cone\, passing interesting 2 tier tree plots dotted about the hills and from the top of the ridge you are presented with distant views over Victor Harbor to the South before finishing with a road walk to Mt Compass

SUMMARY:EE15 Walk 7. Inman Valley - Myponga
DESCRIPTION:BOOKINGS NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED – THE WALK HAS REACHED CAPACITY. \n\nA very undulating walk. Majestic gums line roadsides leading to testing climb up Sugarloaf Hill where walkers are rewarded with spectacular rural views.\n\nThe trail then leads into Myponga Conservation Park for more views and some more testing undulations. Pretty farmland and quiet country roads complete this section.\n\nThere is a 2km walk to the cars after leaving the trail on Yulte Road.\n\n<hr/ >\n\nSpecial Event: This is our final Heysen walk for 2021 and we will be holding an after walk get together at the ” Smiling Samoyed Brewery ” Myponga after the days walk.\n\nSo you have probably already noticed an earlier start to todays walk to enable us to have this get together.\n\nThe event will also be “Themed”\, a first for this walking group. DESCRIPTION:THIS IS THE JULY WALK THAT WAS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID.\n\nBOOKINGS FOR ALL WALKERS REGISTERED ON THAT WALK HAVE BEEN BROUGHT OVER TO THE RESCHEDULED DATE.\n\nIF YOU ARE UNABLE TO WALK IN SEPTEMBER\, PLEASE WITHDRAW FROM THIS WALK AND THE OFFICE WILL REFUND YOUR FEES.\n\n………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..\n\nAfter passing Balquhidder Station\, named by the wool brokering firm Harold and James McGregor after a village in Scotland which was the birthplace of famous outlaw Rob Roy McGregor\, we make our way down to the coast while taking in the views offered by the Southern Ocean.\n\nAs you come down to the beach be prepared to take your shoes off to cross the creek as it can be knee deep at times.\n\nThe walk takes us along both Parsons and Waitpinga Beaches and finishes at Waitpinga Campground in the Newland Head Conservation Park.\n\nThis is a spectacular walk and make sure you keep an eye out for whales along this section of coast.\n\n \n\n“PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU USE HAND SANITIZER PRIOR TO BOARDING AND WEAR A FACE MASK THROUGHOUT THE BUS TRIP”

DESCRIPTION:One of the most spectacular sections of the Trail\, walkers follow sandy tracks through the coastal scrub of Newland Head Conservation Park\, and dramatic clifftops towards Victor Harbor.\n\nHere whales have been sighted\, as well as seals\, dolphins and the endangered white bellied sea eagle.\n\nAt Kings Beach the Trail leaves the coast following roads and an uncleared road reserve to Tugwell Road to begin the long journey north.\n\nA bus will be used at the start and end of the day\, hence the higher bus fee.\n\n \n\n“PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU USE HAND SANITIZER PRIOR TO BOARDING AND WEAR A FACE MASK THROUGHOUT THE BUS TRIP”

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Walk 1 for the new End to End 15 group.\n\nThis first E2E Walk starts from the Cape Jervis trailhead\, and follows sandy coastal tracks and exposed coastal hillsides\, providing spectacular views over Backstairs Passage to Kangaroo Island.\n\nWalkers are sometimes rewarded with sightings of seals and dolphins. At Blowhole Beach the trail enters Deep Creek Conservation Park to begin the long climb through native bushland to Cobbler Hill.\n\nNote: If you are wishing to do this walk as a catch-up please refer to calendar as planned walks in this area are being organised throughout the year for other E2Enders to do catch-up walks without taking the place of new Heysen members wishing to commence their journey.Walk1-14th Aug \,Walk2-28th Aug\n\nInformation re BUS transport: For End to End walks the bus does NOT transport walkers from Adelaide to the walk. After registration\, walkers will be given instructions to drive their vehicle to the meeting point which will be at the END point of the day’s walk. The cars remain there and the bus transports the group to the start point.
