DESCRIPTION:NOTE – If you wish to walk on only one day\, please contact the FOHT office (once \nbookings have opened) to register for that day’s walk. The on-line registration \nsystem will only allow you to register for both days.” \nSaturday 20th Sept Walk Details – 20 km\n\n Walk 35 – Curnows Hut to Raeville – This is a diverse walk through native scrub\, Bundaleer pine forest and farmland. The ridgetops and testing climbs reward walkers with spectacular panoramic views.\n\nSunday 21st Sept Walk Details – 19 km\n\nWalk 36 – Raeville to Locks Ruin: This walk follows dirt roads into the small town of Georgetown and beyond past Hiskey’s Hut. The trail then follows undulating fence lines through Sam’s Hills.\n\nSaturday Night Social\nDinner : Commercial Hotel – 35 Ayr St\, Jamestown\nTime : 6pm\nTheme :  Spring Fever\nNo pre-payment required.   Order and Pay on the night.\nWhen registering for the walk\, please RSVP with Yes or No so that we can coordinate numbers attending.  If you have a partner or friend attending\, please write details in the ‘Notes’ section.\nWalk Difficulty – The Heysen Trail walks are demanding and suitable for experienced walkers who have walked regularly in various terrain consisting of long-distance trails with some steep inclines/declines\, irregular surface with loose uneven\, slippery base. They have a walking time of about 5 to 7 hours and will require a good degree of physical fitness.\n\nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.
