SUMMARY:LFT4 Manoora Mintaro Watervale
DESCRIPTION:Saturday;  Leaving Manoora we hike north then west then north again into Mintaro as we cross the Gilbert Valley agricultural district.\n\nMainly level and somewhat remote farming area.  Martindale Hall features on our walk as we come close to Mintaro. Watch the trail markers closely as they can be unclear at times. Due to easy access and shorter distances between start and finish points we will be doing a car shuffle again this weekend.\nBrief details for next month’s dinner:\n\nDiscovery Park Clare\n8511 Horrocks Highway Clare\nfrom 5pm in the shelter shed with open fire\nBYO protein to cook on the BBQ\nAnd a salad or dessert to share with the group\nBYO drinks\, nibbles\, plates\, cutlery etc\nSunday;  From Mintaro to Watervale we continue west into the Clare Valley vineyards region.  Spectacular walk across high ground below Mt Horrocks and down into Watervale. They have a walking time of about 5 to 7 hours and will require a good degree of physical fitness.\n\nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.
