SUMMARY:SW Wild Dog Glen
DESCRIPTION:After parking at the carpark on Waite Road\, we will walk through Waite Conservation Reserve and then make the reasonably steep climb up Wyllie Hill. We will then walk along sections of the Old Coach Road and the Yurrebilla tracks passing Netherby Spur and Harold’s Lookout.  Wild Dog Glen is a 5.5 km loop trailstarter/twilight summer walk. Walking poles recommended. \nThis hike is considered moderately challenging with some steep climbs\, it will take between 1.5 – 2 hrs to complete. This hike provides some stunning views of Adelaide City and surrounding suburbs. \nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris. SUMMARY:SW Mt Osmond
DESCRIPTION:Commencing from Brock Reserve the walk climbs steadily up to the Mt Osmond Golf Course offering some panoramic views over Adelaide\, then skirts the northwestern boundary of the course before crossing Mt Osmond Road into Gully Reserve and then into Themeda Rserve for a tricky descent on a narrow and often slippery path and couple of road crossings prior to a short sharp climb back into Mt Osmond Reserve. DESCRIPTION:Do you want to get that Christmas feeling? Well \,This fantastic almost flat\,14+k trail starter has lots of variety.\nThis Park Land Loop Route\, is a series of connected walking and cycling trails which loop the city of Adelaide .\nThere are playgrounds\, parks\, lakes\, picnic areas\, also walking through the West tc Cemetery\, plus there are kiosks along the route.\n\nAs a bonus\, the annual Christmas pageant\, will be getting organised as we walk along South Tce\, Giving a great opportunity to see the floats\, bands\, clowns\, etc close up and fresh).\n\nBy us using the southern Adelaide circuit\, and Torrens River to link up it is approximately 14+klm.\n( Note the city centre\, will be very busy)\nWe will stop at lovely coffee shop half way though our walk. \nWe can shorten our walk back to our cars by tram at the railway station or do the14k via the River Torrens.\n\nAt the end of our walk please join us for a social coffee and chat.\nThe question asks re a meal\, but the intention is a social coffee.\n\n\nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris. SUMMARY:Cleland Morning Dew - Take 2
DESCRIPTION:Meet and start as noted below. This is a training walk of approx. 13.1 kms\, that includes a steady climb of approx. 347m over 7kms with great views of the city. We will go via the Burnside Track\, up the “Goat Track” (at Gate 9)\, then the Long Ridge Lookout\, follow the Long Ridge Track up to the Cleland carpark (toilet and snack stop). Then follow the Perimeter Track (anti-clockwise) around Cleland before stopping at the Cleland Cafe. After the break\, back on the Long Ridge Track\, then the Winter track onto Waterfall Gully Road. DESCRIPTION:Setting off from Historic Kingston house we pass by the Tjilbruke monument and wind our way through the Kingston Coastal reserve before heading south on the Marino Coastal trail taking in the views to Pt Stanvac. Retracing our steps and heading northwards views to Brighton\, Holdfast Bay and beyond. Winding up the streets to Marino Conservation Park again with superb southern and northern coastal views to the Marino Lighthouse with a brief stop to enjoy coastal and city views.
