SUMMARY:Kuitpo/Kyeema
DESCRIPTION:This is the first of a series of mid week walks. Each will be designated as a ‘Trail Starter’ to reflect distance and the time required to walk. While each walk will suit new walkers\, experienced walkers are invited to use these walks for some mid week training. In other words\, all-comers are welcome.\n\nThis walk takes a route through parts of both Kuitpo Forest Reserve and Kyeema Conservation Park. We will start on Brookman Connor Road and make our way in an anti clockwise direction. At about lunch time we join the Heysen Trail and head north back to the cars. The walk is through very pretty and quiet country and is generally flat but with one or two steep sections. Participants should be confident that they can walk about 11 kms.

SUMMARY:Sturt Gorge
DESCRIPTION:11km circuit walk from Blackwood to the flood control dam in Sturt Gorge. Return trip along a section of Sturt Gorge then north to Magpie Creek back to Blackwood. Includes a number of creek crossings and some hill climbing. \n\nGeneral ‘what to bring’ reminders: lunch\, nibbles\, water\, first aid kit\, camera\, hat\, gloves and protective wet weather gear if rain is forecast.
