SUMMARY:TS - Lobethal
DESCRIPTION:A pleasant circular walk of about 8 k’s in a hidden wonderland just outside of Lobethal. The Lobethal Bushland features two large reservoirs and tall stringybark forest with fern undergrowth. We will walk beautiful trails around and beyond the park passing the reservoirs on walking trails through heritage-listed remnant bush. Slopes are mostly gradual. The park was burnt out in the December 2019 Adelaide Hills bushfire but is now a fantastic example of regrowth after devastation. The walk is 8-9 km and will probably take 2.5  to 3 hours to complete the loop. Carry enough water for the hike any always carry a good raincoat for protection from rain and wind.\n\n \n\nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.

DESCRIPTION:This challenging walk takes you through the eastern side of Scott Creek Conservation Park\, an area known for its diverse flora and fauna. The trail features steep inclines and descents\, requiring a good level of fitness and physical preparation. As we navigate the hilly path\, we are rewarded with breathtaking views\, on clear days\, of the distant coastline.
