SUMMARY:Mt Crawford/Warren CP
DESCRIPTION:Starting at Mt Crawford Forest Information Centre\, we skirt around the edges of Warren Reservoir before climbing up into Warren Conservation Park. From there we head in a southerly direction along the Heysen Trail. Joining up with the Tower Loop Trail\, we head back to Tower Hill for panoramic views over the area. We then head along forest tracks to Chalks campground\, then a climb over Little Mt Crawford and finally through Jenkins scrub and back to the cars.\n\nThis walk is approx. 25 Kms and will take about 7.5 hours to complete. It is graded as Trail Walker and only register if you have the experience required.

SUMMARY:Morialta
DESCRIPTION:Morialta is a great place to walk and just 10 km from the city.\n\nThe many ups and downs makes this area a good place to keep up your fitness. There is many well known tracks within this park\, but we will also walk some that you may not be familiar with. Morialta is home to kangaroos\, koalas\, echidnas\, many bird species and lots of wildflowers. We will see dramatic cliffs and waterfalls as we complete a loop returning to the start.

SUMMARY:Adelaide100 City-Norton Summit
DESCRIPTION:Following the section of the ‘Adelaide100’ from Adelaide City to Norton Summit\, we will be following the River Torrens Linear Park until we link up several streets to enter and climb up Black Hill\, then across and into Morialta\, and finally onto Norton Summit.\n\nThis is expected to be a demanding day out\, and due to the distance\, a reasonable walking speed will be required to have us finish before it gets dark.\n\nIt is a walk for those who are capable of maintaining a good pace with minimal breaks\, and who are able to cover the distance. Also for those who want to undertake the entire ‘Adelaide100’ circuit.\n\nIf you have not recently walked further than 30km in one outing\, please do not start with this walk.

SUMMARY:Mt Lofty Summit & Gardens
DESCRIPTION:An early 8am start for this 12 – 14k walk will take us via the Cleland park trails\, to the Mt Lofty summit.\n\nWe will spend a bit of time there so as to reward ourselves for the climb.\n\nFrom there we will decend into the Botanic Gardens via the Rhododendron valleyAfter a time at the Botanic Gardens we will continue to make our way back to our vehicles via Woodhouse scout camp and Stirling.\n\nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.
