DESCRIPTION:Crossing open farmland we follow the Heysen Trail south before entering Jupiter Creek Gold Diggings.Remnants of yesteryear can still be seen as we pass through\, and you may even see a hopeful prospector trying their luck. DESCRIPTION:Exploring the wider sections of Glenthorne National Park including O’Halloran Hill and Hessing Crescent Reserves crossing under the Southern Expressway x3 . Distance approx 18 km Total elevation gain 330 mt. Arrive 0820 for 0830 start\n\nROADWORKS MAJORS ROAD SUN 29 SEPT\nDue to Majors Rd onramp construction there will be a closure of a section of Majors Road from Saturday 28 September to Sunday 13 October.\n\n\nThis will affect the access  to the meeting point at the Sam Willoughby BMX Park on Majors Road particularly walkers travelling from the eastern end of Majors Road ie from South Road.\nIf you are travelling from the northern suburbs on South Road or Southern Expressway you will need to exit at Seacombe Road\, travel west on Seacombe Road \, south on Brighton/Ocean Boulevard\, turn off(East) at Majors Road. This will take 15 mins + expect delays.\n\nPlease allow extra travelling time to negotiate any diversions in your route to arrive by 0820.\n\nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris.
