DESCRIPTION:We walk from Eagle on the Hill to Norton Summit. Approx 19km.\nWe will meet at Norton Summit at 7.20 am\, ready for a 7.30 departure.  We will car shuffle to the beginning of the walk.\nThis will be a fast paced walk and the estimated finish time will be 12.30/1.00pm\nPlease bring plenty of water\, a hat\, sunscreen and morning tea. Perhaps add a little extra food\, if you are likely to be hungry around the finish time.\n\n\nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris. SUMMARY:Sturt Gorge Cascades
DESCRIPTION:A loop walk with plenty of river crossings and rock scrambling. A short detour to view the picturesque Cascades. Some short but steep inclines and declines made worth the effort with this walk through the stunning Sturt Gorge. Be prepared to get your feet wet if the river level is up. Please note this is a hard loop walk of about 13km and recommended for those with Trail walker experience. DESCRIPTION:This walk follows the Heysen Trail from Bridgewater oval through Mt George CP\, Mt Lofty Golf Course and Woodhouse Scout Centre. We then make our way to the top of the Botanic Garden and finally to the Mt Lofty Summit Cafe for morning tea. We return to the cars via Sprigg Road.\n\n**** Lunch at the Bridgewater Inn if you wish. Just up the road from the finish. Wednesday is Schnitty Day. SUMMARY:TW Kuitpo
DESCRIPTION:Come and join us for a full day (6hrs\, 18km) Trailwalker through Kuitpo Forest. This walk will take you southwards from Forestry SA Kuitpo HQ through mature and young  blocks of pines\, ascend through stringybark scrubland before taking a short loop through the ancient cup gums of Kyeema Conservation park. SUMMARY:TW Simpson Loop Kersbrook
DESCRIPTION:The Simpson Loop Trail follows quiet country lanes and tracks through the area north of the town of Kersbrook\, with good views over surrounding farmland. Although the trail is deemed for walkers\, most of the trail is along quiet dirt roads that are shared with cars. The trail is part of the Kersbrook Horse Trails. Regardless\, it’s a very scenic hike. \nThe promoted time to hike the trail is 6 hours but hopefully we will be fit enough to do it in 5 hours with stops.\n\nThere will be a stop for morning tea and lunch. Coffee and snacks afterwards is a close drive away\, where local ciders and wines are sold.\n\nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris.
