SUMMARY:Belair/Brownhill Creek
DESCRIPTION:A loop walk through Belair National Park down to Brownhill Creek before a sharp climb up Brown Hill then down to join the Yurrebilla trail for the descent back to Brownhill Creek Road. From there a short stint in some streets of Mitcham prior to a climb through Randell Park and back to Belair Railway station.\n\nThere will only be a break for morning tea as we will be at lunch time.\n\nIf the weather is hot the walk will be shortened by a few kilometers and at least one climb.

DESCRIPTION:Opened in 2016 this trail is quite different to most other walks.Situated on the Mallee side of the Adelaide Hills walkers are rewarded with rolling green hills\,spectacular views in all directions and some of the best dry stone walls in the state.The trail itself is only 5kms long\,from there we walk along quiet backroads for approx another 4kms before turning around and returning to enjoy the splendour of the Sanderston again.

DESCRIPTION:A loop walk starting from near the caravan park on Brown Hill Creek Road then into Mitcham then through the cemetery\, crossing old Belair Rd prior to climbing through Randell Park and out into the streets of Belair for a short stint before moving into Belair National Park. From the railway station entrance to park the walk will pass by Old Government House  and onto the climb up Saddle Hill Track before wending its way onto the Yurrebilla Trail and exiting the Park for the zig zag descent to Brown Hill Creek Road.\n\nAfter a stretch along Brown Hill Creek Road there will be a steep climb to the top of Brown Hill prior to descending back through McElligotts Reserve and down to the cars.\n\nThe walk includes 3 testing climbs so please be prepared.\n\nPlease remember the only stop during the walk will be for morning tea as the walk will finish prior to lunch.

DESCRIPTION:We meander through the walking trails of Cox Scrub Conservation Park to the Finniss River. DESCRIPTION:This walk is in a section of Mount Crawford Forest referred to as “Old Kersbook Locality”. We will be walking on wide open fire tracks through native forest and pine plantations and also along the edge of the forest where there is good views over surrounding farmland. Parts of this area were burnt in the Sampson Flat fires of 2015 and you will see the rejuvenation of the trees.\n\nA trail walker with undulating terrain.\n\nTo reach the meeting point there is a small section of gravel road.

SUMMARY:Para Wirra National Park
DESCRIPTION:This is a bush-walk through very picturesque country linking the major features in the park. The scenery rivals some areas of the Flinders Ranges with its beauty\, and the proximity to Adelaide is a bonus. Birds of prey and colored birds in addition to native animals can be seen in the quieter northern parts of the park. \n\nThe terrain provides a good training ground for E2E walks etc.\,as the route will be undulating\, incorporating some significant climbs and gentle descents. Our return to the start point will be via a more recent established track. \n\nFirst time trail walkers are encouraged to participate\, a strategy for group cohesion will be in place.\n\nThe walk distance is about 14Km consisting of a loop from the Devils Nose car park via the gold fields and return by a different route. \n\nSome sections are narrow with tripping hazard requiring undivided attention\, please stop walking to admire the view in these areas.\n\n \n\nPlease note there is no park entry fee for registered participants in this walk.

SUMMARY:Adelaide Hills
DESCRIPTION:This walk is ideal for walkers who need to get a few kms into their legs. It is about 26kms and includes a few hills and rough tracks to improve your stamina and walking techniques. It takes in part of the Pioneers Womens Trail\, Mt. Lofty Botanic Gardens and Cleland Recreation Park. The up hills are out of the way by lunchtime leaving a gentle stroll back to the cars after that. \n\nWe will probably make Cleland Wildlife Reserve in time for lunch and a coffee (if you feel inclined). \n\nThe walk commences at 8am from Brock Reserve on Dashwood Road\, Beaumont. The walk should finish by 16:00.

DESCRIPTION:Commencing from Measday Lookout the walk threads its way through and around the southeastern portion of the Cleland Cons. Park.There will a couple worthwhile climbs & descents to test your early season fitness.\n\nAs we will finish by prior to lunch there only be a break for morning tea probably around 10.30 to 10.45am\n\nWhile this walk is only 4-4.5 hrs duration it will be a testing walk so please come prepared.
