SUMMARY:Walk The Yorke – Stansbury-Giles Point-Wattle Point
DESCRIPTION:Saturday…\nA bus is hired for End-to-End and Extended walks. Each walker will need to pay the bus fee in addition to their walk payment.\nThe section from Stansbury to Wool Bay consists of a diversion inland past the Limestone mine at Klein Point. After that though the track weaves through native vegetation with great coastal views across the bay.  We continue past the silos of Port Giles to the Hickeys Point shelter.\n\nSunday…\n\nThe trail continues through along the coast through Coobowie and Edithburgh.\n\nCoobowie to Edithburgh is one of the Hero walks of the WTY.\n\nBetween Edithburgh and Sultana Point is the Mosaic Trail\, lined with more than 40 nautically themed mosaic rock art works created by local people and community groups.\n\nSouth of Sultana Point the coastline is especially rugged and scenic.\n\nSuggested accommodation – Edithburgh\n\nNOTE – If you wish to walk on only one day\, please contact the FOHT office (once bookings have opened) to register for that day’s walk. The on-line registration system will only allow you to register for both days.
