SUMMARY:Walk The Yorke – Port Davenport-Foul Bay-Marion Bay
DESCRIPTION:These walks will be done out of order so that the longer walk is done on  Saturday.\n\nSaturday…\n\nThe section between the KI Look-out and Marion Bay is one of the Hero walks of the WTY.\n\nA challenging but very rewarding section of the trail with plenty of photographic opportunities.  The area is a haven for birds and wildlife\, so keep an eye out for sea birds including the Hooded Plover\, Peregrine Falcon and the White Bellied Sea Eagle.\n\nSunday…\n\nThe trail shares the path with the WTY cyclists on the roads before returning to the coast and following heavily vegetated low shrub lands before reaching Foul Bay.\n\nOur route will continue on along the roads till we reach the KI lookout.\n\nSuggested accommodation – Marion Bay\n\nPlease note that the plans for this weekend were changed on Thurs 3pm to allow the Marion Bay beach to be walked at low tide despite a forecast easterly wind.\n\n\nNOTE – If you wish to walk on only one day\, please contact the FOHT office (once bookings have opened) to register for that day’s walk. The on-line registration system will only allow you to register for both days.
