SUMMARY:Willunga Basin Trail - Blue Group
DESCRIPTION:This year we’ll have 2 groups walking the Willunga Basin Trail on the same day but on adjoining sections. The BLUE group and GREEN group will use the same bus to pick up and drop-off; hence the GREEN group will start 30-40 mins later than the BLUE group. Registration is separate for each group so walkers need to decide which group to join.\n\nToday the walk leaves from Onkaparinga National Park\, winding its way through Hardy’s Scrub\, then travels some road reserves with a swoop across Gemtree Winery wetlands before a few quiet back roads take us into Willunga. Terrain is relatively flat with an occasional undulation.

DESCRIPTION:This year we’ll have 2 groups walking the Willunga Basin Trail on the same day but on adjoining sections. Registration is separate for each group so walkers need to decide which group to join.\n\nThis walk for the GREEN group is from Moana Beach to Gate 20\, Onkaparinga National Park.\n\nLeaving the coast at Moana\, then we take the rail wine trail to McLaren Vale followed by a long section of road/reserve to Onkaparinga.\n\nAfter the walk\, for those that are interested\, we will convene at the Swell Brewing Co. Taphouse & Brewery 168 Olivers Rd McLaren Vale for drinks/coffee to dissect the walk and discuss “that hill”.
