DESCRIPTION:A loop walk\, combining several of the walking tracks in Cleland conservation Park. Come and join one of the hosted walks and discover some of the lesser known trails exploring Cleland Conservation Park and the trails beyond.\n\nThere are walk options to suit everybody. If you’re after a serious climb along forest trails to get your heart pumping\, a gentle ramble to take in the scenery or something in between then we have a walk for you. Check out the options and choose from various lengths\, terrain and starting points. SUMMARY:Warren Gorge to Eyre Depot; Woolshed Flat to Quorn
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday … Warren Gorge to Eyre Depot.\n\nAn early start will take us driving to Warren Gorge to start from there.\n\nAfter climbing over the saddle we will enter Mount Arden Creek and wind our way southwards. The  winding creek bed with its waterfalls and rocky sections can make progress very slow. Leaving the ranges will have us arriving at Eyre Depot … and then only a short walk to meet the bus waiting to take us back to Warren Gorge to collect our cars.\n\nOn Sunday … Woolshed flat to Quorn.\n\nA steady climb to start the day takes walkers to the top of the range and views over Pichi Richi Pass. After descending into the pass again\, the Trail follows the historic Pichi Richi railway line\, passing the remnants of deserted sidings and settlements.\n\nNOTE – If you wish to walk on only one day\, please contact the FOHT office to register for that days walk. DESCRIPTION:A slightly circular walk covering Native Forest Reserve and pine forest giving walkers a opportunity to see a bright spring wildflowers\, orchids and also small birds. Walkers will be encouraged to wander and enjoy this walk which starts at Jenkins Scrub then along the South Para River near Mount Crawfords pines for morning tea. After which we return to Jenkins Scrub to follow the circuit back to the Jenkins Scrub Trailhead.

SUMMARY:Tailem Bend - River Bend Heritage Walk
DESCRIPTION:An interesting 26km circuit between Tailem Bend and Wellington along the Murray River – mostly flat but long day. Allow up to 8 hours as we will use ferries to cross river and time to explore as we traverse heritage areas and conservation reserves.  \n\nAfter a ferry crossing the morning section is a long walk on the levee bank adjacent to the river and farmland – this is an exposed section so challenging if the weather is inclement.  After a second ferry crossing we enter an arboretum and conservation reserves that will take us through sandy tracks\, flowering scrubland and up along cliffs.

DESCRIPTION:Opened in 2016 this trail is quite different to most other walks.Situated on the Mallee side of the Adelaide Hills walkers are rewarded with rolling green hills\,Spectacular views in all directions and some of the best dry stone walls in the state.The trail itself is only 5kms long\,from there we will walk along quiet backroads for approx another 4kms before turning around and returning to enjoy the splendour of the Sanderston again.

DESCRIPTION:A short but very sweet trailstarter that has it’s challenges….\n\nThe walk meanders first down into Cobbler Creek Recreation Park from  Green Valley Road through classic Mallee Box grassy woodlands. Then we wander along Cobbler Creek before climbing and then exploring up and down through some of the remote parts of the park.Lots of bird life and lizards so bring your camera. After a leisurely morning tea at Teakles Ruins we wander downhill again. Those that are interested may want to explore the Flood Mitigation Dam or the Stormwater water system before climbing up through the Mallee Box woodlands to our cars.

SUMMARY:Peters Hill to Gerkie Gap to Webb Gap
DESCRIPTION:ON SATURDAY-A pleasant walk along back roads through undulating farmlands to the southern end of the Tothill Range taking in the town of Marrabel and its memorial to the famous buckjumper “Curio”. A stop at the cemetery on the way into Marrabel provides an insight into the hardship of life for the early pioneers of the area.\n\nON SUNDAY-After a climb through Gerkie Gap to the eastern side of the range this walk hugs the side of the range before climbing back over the range just north of Smith Hill. From here the walk continues northward through open scrubland on the western flank of the range.\n\nDINNER on SATURDAY Night will be at the Riverton Hotel at 6.00 for 6.30pm. Order and Pay on the night. SUMMARY:Brownhill Creek and Belair Loop
DESCRIPTION:This loop hike traverses the Brownhill Creek valley\, through and beyond Brownhill Creek Recreation Park\, up the Yurrebilla Trail and into Belair National Park. We then join the Waterfall Hike\, which takes us past the picturesque rock escarpments of the park’s upper waterfall\, then onto fire tracks adjacent to Queens Jubilee Drive to rejoin the Yurrebilla Trail near the lower end of the park. Passing the Belair Railway Station\, we follow a short section of local roads and then walking paths in Randell Park\, returning to Brownhill Creek via the Mitcham Cemetery.

DESCRIPTION:The flora and the scenery on this walk are spectacular. \n\nIt is just about my favourite spring walk and I am always delighted by the chance to see some rare coastal heath in flower.\n\nThere are magnificant views so dont forget camera &/or binoculars. Bring rain\, wind and sun protection as well as lunch\, snacks and a minimum 1 litre of water.\n\nThis walk is about 13km but it is relatively flat and easy and it will include a morning tea stop and a lunch stop. Start time 9am sharp\, finish approx 1.30pm.\n\nIt is an 1hr 40 minutes drive from Adelaide.

DESCRIPTION:A loop walk commencing from near the caravan park on Brown Hill Creek Road then through Mitcham General Cemetery prior to climbing through Randell Rark and out onto the streets of Belair for a short stint before moving into Belair National Park. From the railway station entrance to the park our time in Bslair will include a climb up Saddle Hill Track before wending our way back onto the Yurrebilla Trail and out of the Park for the descent down to Brown Hill Creek Road.\n\nAfter a short time on Brown Hill Creek Road we will climb to the top of Brown Hill prior to descending back through McElligotts Reserve and onto the cars.\n\nThis walks offers 3 testing climbs so pleased be prepared.

SUMMARY:Spalding Rd to Chlorinator to Curnows Hut
DESCRIPTION:NOTE – If you wish to walk on only one day\, please contact the FOHT office (once 	bookings have opened) to register for that day’s walk. The online registering 	system will only allow you to register for both days.\n\nDay 1 Saturday 1st September 2018 21kms\n\nThis is a very flat\, but unique walk that follows the Freshwater intake channel for Bundaleer Reservoir\, only leaving it for a few km to go through Spalding.  Walkers will see some fascinating examples of engineering from the early 1900’s.\n\nDay 2 Sunday 2nd September 2018 17kms\n\nPassing Bundaleer Reservoir and the permanently flowing Bundaleer Creek\, the Trail joins the Bundaleer northern intake channel at the aqueduct.  After leaving the channels at the weir it follows Never Never Creek past remnant Yacca forests and grazing land towards Bundaleer Forest.

DESCRIPTION:A great mixture of vineyards and bush land also including a stretch of the Reisling trail.\n\nPassing through the old towns of Watervale and Penwortham first settled in 1847 & 1839 respectively.  There may be an opportunity to explore some historic buildings along the way.
