SUMMARY:Old Noarlunga-Pt Noarlunga Loop
DESCRIPTION:This walk starts at Old Noarlunga and follows the Onkaparinga River and through the Onkaparinga Wetlands crossing a bridge to head to the beautiful Onkaparinga mouth. From there we head along the beach and then up through Sand Dunes and along to Port Noarlunga. From there we head back along the Onkaparinga and onto a couple of board walks then crossing back over to return to Old Noarlunga. On this walk you should see plenty of bird life and the odd kangaroo or three. This walk is very flat with the only real difficulty being 1km walking in sand and hence would be a good first time Trail Walker if you are looking to advance from Trail Starters onto longer walks.

DESCRIPTION: \n\nWe will walk some of the Stirling loop plus some of the Women’s Pioneer trail plus then the Heysen extension into Hahndorf.\n\nPlease note this is a one way trail\, so a bus pass ( buses are not accepting cash ) will be a necessity\, this will allow us to return to our walk start location.\n\nDistance is approximately 18 klms.\n\nThere is a coffee shop\, available at our morning tea stop & a lovely choice for a latish lunch in Hahndorf.

DESCRIPTION:A loop walk in and around the northern and eastern sections of Cleland commencing near the start of the Wine Shanty Track prior to threading a path up and down through to the Wild Life Park then a turn around the Perimeter Track before finding a way back to the start. The actual course of the  final part of the walk will be determined on the day. In total the walk will be approx. 14 t0 15 klms in length.\n\nThere will be a short break for morning tea during the walk.

SUMMARY:Onkaparinga Explorer
DESCRIPTION:Expand your horizons on trails less travelled within Onkaparinga NP.  This is a challenging walk of some 14-15km loop with descents to the river and accents up the gorge.  Initially walking down to the river\, the walk then climbs the gorge to pick up a section of the Willunga Basin Trail tracing edges of the park; it then traverses less familiar tracks further up river. Testing your durability will be 3 water crossings:  walkers should be prepared with spare socks and hand towel depending on river levels. Gaiters are recommended as snakes may be present during warmer weather.

DESCRIPTION:Our Twilight dinner walk is \napproximately 7-8 klms in length. \nThis is now moved to Friday December 4th\n\nAfter Covid disruption and extreme heat forecast for the 27th November.\n\nThis a loop walk\, utilising the Heysen trail\, Cascade trail and the Leah fire track\,  as they meander through the Mt George conservation park.\n\nThere is one steep section so a hiking pole or similar may assist you.\n\nAt the completion of our walk we will visit the Stirling golf clubrooms for our dinner      ( not compulsory)\n\nThe club has advised that as last year\, there will be live music and most meals at discounted prices. eg\, a pizza\, hamburger etc\n\nThis is a loop walk so we will finish where we started.

DESCRIPTION:Starting and finishing through the back roads and reserves in Summertown this is a relatively comfortable walk except for the sharp little climb up behind Mt Lofty followed by a time meandering along some tracks in Cleland Con. DESCRIPTION:This a partly night walk\, so a headlamp or similar is a requirement.\n\nWe will be walking from Crafers to the Mount Lofty summit\, via Stirling and numerous trails within the Cleland nature reserve.\n\nSunset on this day is at 8.30 pm so some walking in the dark will be a requirement.\n\nAlso the cafe at the summit will not be open\, so I suggest you bring some food along. We will spend 20 or 30 minutes up there. Giving us time for food.\n\nOur return will be via Cleland reserves\, then back to our vehicles.

DESCRIPTION:This is an approximately 13 KLM loop walk\, the last part will be in the dark\, so a headlamp or torch is a must.\n\nWe will walk a number of trails within the Bellair Conservation park.\n\nThere are no cafe’s or food stores within the park\, so you must bring your own food.\n\nWe will stop at approximately half way for about 20 minutes\, for a rest and food.

DESCRIPTION:A lovely loop walk into and out\, and throughout the beautiful Mark Oliphant Conservation Park including numerous undulations though none are too demanding.\n\nThe native woodland surroundings comprising of stringybarks\, blue\, pink and manna gums\, and a small patch of candlebark gums are a delight to walk through\, making the park a little gem to enjoy at any time of the year.\n\nThere will only be a short break for morning tea as the walk will finish before lunchtime.
