Description

WEEKEND BASED IN QUORN

Sat -We start the day with a 2;5km or 4km {if wet} walk back in through private property to rejoin the trail back up on the ridgeline .The surrounding countryside is truly spectacular with views of Mt Brown enticing the walker onwards .With such scenery ones mind is distracted from the 600mtrs plus of elevation we climb to get the top.A quick morning tea will be taken at Catninga shed to refuel before the final ascent.Once at the top we will break again for a proper morn tea giving walkers the time to enjoy what Mt Brown{964mtrs} has to offer.A long descent leads us down to Waukarie Creek and  eventually to Pichi Richi Pass where our cars are .Another tough day on the trail but well worth it .IF YOU ARE INJURED OR UNWELL PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS WALK .

Sun-A steady climb to the start of the day takes walkers to the top of the range and views over Pichi Richi Pass. After following the ridgeline for a few kms the trail descends into the Pass again .We then follow the Historic Pichi Richi Railway Line passing remnants of deserted sidings and settlements.DO NOT WALK ON THE TRACKS OR BRIDGES .

If you only want to walk on one day please ring the office to register.

Please sanitise hands and wear mask upon boarding the bus .
