Description

From the former quarry within McElligotts Reserve, a number of walking possibilities exist. On a previous Trail Starter walk, we visited the gardens of the Carrick Hill Estate, followed by a walk through the Waite Institute campus, and returning to our starting point via Springfield. Footwear with good grip is recommended. The walk starts promptly at 9.00 am and finish by about 1.30 pm.
