Description

A challenging walk through the mining history of the Glen Osmond area. We start with a body-warming climb to the smelter chimney, followed by a scramble across the hillside to the Wheal Gawler and Wheal Watkins mines. Then an easy return to the cars.

A sense of adventure and perhaps an interest in our early colonial history. Sturdy boots/shoes with good grip. Morning tea. Appropriate weather protection.
