Description

We skirt around the foot of Mt Rufus before climbing to the summit of Leake Lookout (526m. The 360 degree views from here make it a memorable feature.

After a steep descent of the northern wooded face the trail passes through grazing land before entering and following a deep wide creek bed into another wooded area and emerges on to Leakes Pass Road.
