Description

The Lavender Trail meets the Heysen Trail at Webb Gap.

Our walk begins as a leisurely stroll on the Heysen Trail along Kernchens Road to Webb Gap Road. A short climb gets us to the top of Webb Gap and a typical Heysen trail campsite where we will have morning tea. Then its an easy wander down to the opening ceremony.

12noon: Opening Ceremony at Junction of the trails. We will then head to Peppermint Springs via a fairly direct route.

1pm: Lunch at Peppermint Springs (Robertstown War Memorial Community Centre will have a wide selection of food to purchase). Some more speakers and exhibits.

2pm: Walks resume. We will make our way back to Webb Gap using the Lavender Trail over farmland and into the foothills of the Tothill Range which may be fairly up and down and the track rocky in places. From Webb Gap we will retrace our steps back to the vehicles.
