Description

If you are looking for The Two Billabong Walk that was previously listed for this date, it will now be held on 9 March 2026. Significant vegetation management work is currently being conducted at one of the sites, resulting in the change of dates.

A flat, but scenic walk along the Linear Park Trail from Klemzig into the CBD, and then through to the Adelaide Central Market. It's surprising how far you can walk into the city before it is apparent that you are indeed, in the state capital.

We will spend some time in the market (coffee anyone?) before walking back to Currie Street to catch the O'Bahn back to Klemzig Interchange. Have your Metro Card or Senior's Card at the ready.

Lots of history to share during this walk.

I'm now off to the doctors. This is the flattest walk I have ever led. There must be something wrong with me.

BIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear, clothing, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.

No need for hiking boots or poles. Clothing suitable for the weather. Hat and sunscreen. A litre of water. Shopping bag if you are planning on purchasing at the market. Metro card or Senior's card for the ride back to Klemzig.

Flat walk of 9k. No special experience required.
