Description

Commencing from Laratinga Wetlands on Mount Barker Creek we will be walking to the Summit of Mount Barker. There, on a clear day, we have views south-east over the Murray’s Lower Lakes and to the west over the Onkaparinga Valley to Mount Lofty. Track is along the verge of some minor country roads until we reach the Conservation Reserve where the path is through open woodland. Here the understory is low shrubs and we should see native orchids and a variety of bulbous plants in flower.
