Description

Enjoy city vistas and native flora (including a rare ancient fern habitat) on the first half of this walk as it contours along a section of the Heysen Trail through the Cleland Conservation Park. Then cutting across the saddle alongside Mt.Bonython treck down to the picturesque Piccadilly Valley before facing a(slow paced)return climb to the ridge through the Botanic Gardens. Magnolia & Rhododendron should be in full bloom at this time. (an ideal place to stop for a picnic lunch for anyone interested)
