Walk The Yorke – Port Davenport-Foul Bay-Marion Bay
Sat 24 to Sun 25 Sep 2022
- Walk name/location
- Walk The Yorke – Port Davenport-Foul Bay-Marion Bay
- Walk grade
- Walk the Yorke End to End
The trail shares the path with the WTY cyclists on the roads before returning to the coast and following heavily vegetated low shrub lands before reaching Foul Bay.
Our route will continue on a further four km to the boat ramp.
A more challenging but very rewarding section of the trail with plenty of photographic opportunities. The area is a haven for birds and wildlife, so keep an eye out for sea birds including the Hooded Plover, Peregrine Falcon and the White Bellied Sea Eagle.
The section from the KI Look-out to Marion Bay is one of the Hero walks of the WTY.
Suggested accommodation – Marion Bay
NOTE – If you wish to walk on only one day, please contact the FOHT office (once bookings have opened) to register for that day’s walk. The on-line registration system will only allow you to register for both days.
