Description

Tired..bored with yet another weekend walk up to Mt Lofty. What about a stroll through Shepherds Hill and Waitparinga Reserves to the old Sleeps Hills Tunnel and the Viaduct which spanned the gorge? Before crossing the main ridge and descending to view the entrances to both the old and new tunnels.... But wait, there's more. We'll then do a spin around the Sleeps Hill Quarry network on the Interpretive Trail. A brief history of the rail and quarry networks will be included at no extra charge.
