Stirling to Lofty Loop

Fri 22 Oct 2021

Details

Walk name/location
Stirling to Lofty Loop
Walk grade
Trail Walker
Description

A hybrid walk to round off my walking season. Some urban streets mixed with some walking in Cleland. Road side walking and bush trails. And some quirky little laneways thrown in for good measure. A loop starting in Stirling that works its way up to Lofty Summit (The Heysen Route}. Then down through Cleland and returning to Stirling via Crafers.

No toilet stops between Stirling and the Summit {residents would prefer that you didn't use their front garden} so consider visiting the public toilets at Steamroller Park next to the first roundabout in Stirling before heading to the meeting point.

Morning tea and facilities at the Summit before our return journey.

Maybe consider coffee or lunch in Stirling after the walk. It's a lovely little town.
