Description

A long and at times challenging loop walk. Some steep up and down hills, and a little rock climbing. We will walk along the River Trail, up to the top of the Sturt River Flood Control Dam. From there, we will continue through to the Craigburn Farm Lake. a nice spot to stop. We cross Murray's Hill Road at Coromandel Valley, and see the impressive old stone bridge here. We continue along the Wattle and Lomandra Trails, back to our starting point. Walking poles are a definite advantage. Not recommended if you have knee troubles. Please contact the leader on 0421 177 822 on the day if you can't make it.
