Saturday’s walk is an afternoon stroll from Point Turton to Point Souttar.
On the way we pass ‘The Drain’; dug in 1900 by around 20 men to drain a big swamp area (taking around 50 weeks to complete).
Sunday’s walk includes long sand beach walks with scenic views and headland trails.
There are some great photographic opportunities with views of the rugged coastline.
Watch for dolphins, whales and fishermen.
Suggested accommodation – Corny Point
(Saturday’s walk is only in the afternoon so you may only need accommodation on Saturday night)
NOTE – If you wish to walk on only one day, please contact the FOHT office (once bookings have opened) to register for that day’s walk. The on-line registration system will only allow you to register for both days.
