Description

May is history month.  Join me in the historic township of Willunga, established in 1839.  We will follow the old railway track, now the "Shiraz trail", wending our way through vineyards and farmland.  Our journey will then take us back along the "Willunga Basin trail", and a steady uphill section with lovely views across to the coast.  Arriving back to the township we then wend our way through Willunga town with  reminders of the it's slate mining heritage in the old cottages and buildings such as the old courthouse and Telegraph house.

BIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear, clothing, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.
