Description

The journey follows the Shiraz Trail, winding through lush vineyards and farmland, showcasing the region’s renowned wine culture. The mostly level terrain, with a few gentle inclines, offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the distant coast. As you make your way along the trail, you’ll experience the beauty of the Willunga Basin, a fertile and scenic area, before returning for a walk through the charming, historic township of Willunga. This route provides a peaceful and picturesque journey through South Australia’s wine region, blending history, and agriculture with coastal views.

BIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear, clothing, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.
