Section 19: Tanunda to Kapunda

You’ll travel along back roads and road reserves past iconic Barossa Valley vineyards and wineries. The small town of Greenock is a gateway into the cropping and grazing land of the Lower North and you’ll have a long but mainly flat walk with pleasant vistas and changing seasonal colours. The section finishes at Kapunda Town Square where you’ll be within easy walking distance of bakeries and pubs.

Small parties of walkers can choose any point in Kapunda as their start/end point.

To avoid parking congestion large groups should park at 5 Hancock Rd; on the roadside near sale yards / silo.
They will then need to use the corner of Hancock Rd and James Street as their start/end point, giving them a 500m walk back to the cars.
