Yesterday afternoon the End-to-End 2 group reached the end of the Heysen Trail at Parachilna Gorge. For 9 of the 50 hikers it was the culmination of many years of hard work as they completed the entire trail.
The group had hiked from Red Range, just south of Wilpena Pound, to the end of the trail over the past 7 days.
Last night they had a celebratory dinner at The Woolshed restaurant at Rawnsley Park, paying tribute to those that completed the trail and those that helped them along the way.
