What visitors have to say…

  1. Richard J Connolly

A most pleasant stay here after a long day’s walk from Chookarloo Campground. Well appointed camp kitchen and small shop at the office (the bacon was delicious!). The walk through the golf course to town is preferable to going along the main road. Good birdwatching around the camp ground.

  2. Nick Tyllis

Nice place to camp. Next to the golf course.

Nice walking from there, through the golf course into town.
A bit more challenging walking back at night – it’s pitch-black, so you’d need to use a navigation app to guide you through the golf course. Especially walking back drunk after dinner at the pub.

  3. Vicki Gabriel

A lovely little park with very clean cabins, hosts are great and offered to take me into town if I needed anything. Full cabin amenities and well worth the walk off track.

  4. Mark Darter

Stayed here 9 & 10/5/22. About 800m off the trail but worth the detour for very clean cabins in a very neat and small park. It’s about 3km walk into town and the supermarket so you may wish to get a lift.
