The Deep Creek hike is partly on the Heysen Trail and partly on National Park trails. Commencing on a hill top the hike ventures down to the valley bottom before returning to a hill top – once on the way over along one route then back again via the other route. One section does require a rock scramble. Trailwalker fitness is recommended for this walk. while it is only just over 12 km it makes up for it in ups and downs.
BIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear, clothing, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.
