Description

This walk will have us meander around Cleland National Park for about 4.5hrs over approx.15km, helping us prepare our legs & bodies for the walking season ahead.

BIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear, clothing, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.

Some tricky, steep sections with loose surface in parts. Dirt tracks, the trail can be very slippery where wet. Snakes, insects and other critters that bite & sting. Mountain bikes & trail runners.

Requirements

Wear appropriate hiking clothing, hiking footwear, hat, sunscreen, rain jacket etc., as per the forecasted weather conditions.

Carry at least 2 litres of water, hand sanitiser, a personal first aid kit including: band aids, blister packs, analgesics, anti-inflammatories and electrolytes, any regular medications including an action plan, and anything else you think you may require.

Bring food and snacks for morning tea and lunch.
