Description

A "figure 8" loop walk covering most of the Pingle farm, Noarlunga Downs Wetland and Wetlands Loop Trails.  A very flat walk, only a couple of short rises to negotiate (you can't really call them hills lol!).  The distance covered will be approximately 13.5 km, which may be shortened in the event of inclement weather.

We will see plenty of birdlife, and maybe some kangaroos.  We will cross over the old railway bridge over the Onkaparinga River adjacent to Main South Road, and walk adjacent to a grass airstrip, home of the South coast Flying Club and Model Aircraft Club.  If we are lucky, we may see some light planes and model aircraft flying.
