Description

 

Time - 1800 to 2030 hours; Note: Sunset at 2013 hours.

Duration – Not more than two and a half hours. Please assemble early to ensure a prompt departure by 1800 hours.

Distance - Seven kilometres; therefore unsuitable for children, pets, and during hot weather.

Walk Description – Contiguous seaside suburbs that offer a clockwise walking loop of surprising contrasts.

Leader – Lyndon Grimmer.

Suggested Items - Sandshoes, hat, sunscreen, and water.

First Leg: soft sand and single file walking. Second and Third Legs: Cyclists. Crossing over Military Road, Trimmer Parade, and the single track railway.

Requirements

Car parking may be difficult, especially if conditions are warm; please allow for extra time.

Alternatively, public transport is close by, such as the Grange railway station and route H30 bus.
