Mylor forest & Valley Loop

Trail Starter
Description

This beatiful but challenging starter cirquit connects a series of nature reserves and some quiet country lane walking.
The walk begins at Mylor, walking through the Mylor Forest.

This 12 - 13k loop walk takes in the Mylor forest as well as some of the Aldgate Valley.
It utilises a section of the Heysen Trail between Stirling Cemetery, and Mylor Conservation Park, that parallels the Aldgate to Mylor Road.
Although it is a walking path/trail, and not a roadside footpath.

The reserves and native bushland where we walk is home to Southern Brown Bandicoots, kangaroos, possums, echidnas and koalas.
Out of all the nearby Adelaide walks it ranks high in my favourites.

We finish the walk outside the bakery, So please indicate if you're joining the group for a social after walk, coffee and chat.

BIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear, clothing, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.
