Description

A loop in Belair NP, with plenty of undulations and varied terrain. Abundant birdlife and possible sightings of koalas, kangaroos and emus. Some interesting trees and a detour to the upper waterfall.

This walk is primarily a training walk for EE19 but other walkers are welcome. This is a shorter and easier walk than our Saturday walk, but gives walkers a chance to experience multi-day walking.

*** Anyone interested in this walk but worried about the cost of fuel, please contact Kristyn Willson via email (heysenee19@gmail.com) to organize car pooling. ***

BIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear, clothing, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.

Requirements

Wear appropriate hiking clothing, hiking footwear, hat, sunscreen, rain jacket etc as you need per forecast weather conditions.

Carry at least 2 litres of water and a personal first aid kit including electrolytes.

Bring food and snacks for morning tea and lunch.

Walking poles handy.

Experience

Trail Walker experience preferred.
