A loop walk through Mylor Conservation Park, along a section of the Heysen Trail and returning via the Aldgate Valley Nature Walk, [also known as the bandicoot walk]
This walk starts with a significant climb [worth the effort] to enter the Conservation Park.
The Aldgate Valley Nature Walk connects a series of nature reserves and some quiet country lane walking. The bushland along this walk provides habitat to bandicoots, kangaroos, possums, echidnas and many other animals and many species of birds and plants.
BIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear, clothing, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.
