Description

Happy Valley reservoir was opened in December 2021 after being closed for over 100 years.

It is now open for walking, cycling, kayaking and fishing.

Walking to the dam wall we will see views across the water to the Adelaide Hills, then walk through some off the natural bush and onto the shore line. The bush is home to koalas, kangaroos. echidna and many birds.

Due to Covid there will be no meal after the walk.

BIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear, clothing, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.
