Description

This moderately difficult trail starter loop walk follows the Sturt River and the undulating trails for approximately 14 km in the Sturt Gorge Recreation Park. The area was recognised for its conservation and geological significance. Some rocky sections of the trail along the Sturt River will require rock scrambling and will be slippery when wet, so ensure the proper footwear. This is a shared trail with other hikers, trail runners and mountain bikes.

BIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear, clothing, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.
