I have noticed on other websites that you are now required to pay fee’s? Is this still a free campground or do we require to pay fee’s?
Charlotte,
Ippinitchie is now managed by DEW and requires booking and payment of a fee, all done on line.
Whilst the campsite is marked on our maps, it is so far off the Trail, the spur is no longer marked there.
It is a bit confusing as it was ForestrySA managed and recently handed over to the Department of Environment and Water and the status of the campsite may be in flux.
