Description

Come along for a walk in the Warren Conservation Park, which includes sections of the Heysen Trail and a rich diversity of native scrub. Some open country, which is adjacent to the fire watch tower, provides 360 degree extended views over the Adelaide Hills.

BIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear, clothing, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.

  1. I declare that if I experience any respiratory symptoms (even if mild) before the walk, I will immediately self-isolate, seek medical advice and cancel my registration for the event.
  2. When attending the walk I will:
    • observe social distancing practices
    • maintain personal hygiene (apply hand sanitiser and protect others if I cough/sneeze)
    • not share drink bottles, eating utensils, other personal items and equipment.

Muddy, slippery trails if there has been recent rain.

Requirements

This includes:

  • maintaining a 1.5 metre minimum distance between participants
  • maintaining a 4m2 minimum area per person
  • bringing and using your own supply of hand sanitise

Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing and carry sufficient water for the conditions forecast on the day. Can be windy at the tower, so bring a warm jacket, just in case. Walking poles may be handy if you usually use them, but not essential. Bring snacks and light lunch for a morning tea break and a lunch break.
